The Future of Motorcycles

These past few days at my job, we have been having these discussions on the topic of electric motorcycles. I'm personally not a huge fan for many reasons.

1. They are to quiet.
2. They don't look like a Real motorcycle, to Me.
3. They look to futuristic.
4. They don't have a motor to look at and gaze upon.
5. They do not have a individualism look to them.
6. You can't romp threw the gears.
7. They make me think of a scooter.

I can keep going on and on but you get were I'm coming from.

Just looking at a electric bike just makes a person go. Are we in 2050, where are the flying cars.

To say that is also to say, this is the future of motorcycles unfortunately. Planet earth is a place of innovation and growth. As much as I can disagree with electric motorcycles and how quiet or weird they look, they will eventually dominate the roads.

Being American and a Californian I am surrounded by change. To say this electric motorcycle bug is a fade and will eventually fall off would be me lying to myself. Look how much has changed in the past 10 years with technology, cell phones with video, cars driving by themselves, hoover boards, smart watches, smart refrigerators and etc.

This day has not come for the electric bike to dominate the market yet, but when I does. I will definitely have my money properly invested and probably have a couple in my garage. Until then, here are a couple snaps of these interesting machines.

Throw back tuesday

When I first began hanging around Redemption Cycles,  I use to stay with the camera ready to shot anything. These were the good old days. These are also the days that made me realize how much I liked motorcycles and how old cars, old bikes, had an effect on me. Great memories then and now I can't wait to see what the future brings.

This Beautiful Virago

I am a huge fan of the different build you get out of this yamaha virago. This Orange machine is freaking gorgeous. Since I am a owner of a virago, I don't think I will ever stop posting different build of this bike. So much inspiration.

Tokyo's 7th Annual Motorcycle swap meet

Here is a little nightly juice for the night. I need to make my way to Tokyo and go to one of these Swap meet/ cruise nights. It's so many sick bikes and cars on the road. This is definitely a bucket list trip.

The Yamaha Virago

This infamous yamaha virago. I actually own and am currently building this bike right now. When I first seen this bike I was in awe. Now I'm on a mission to diversify myself own and create something as nice as this. Unfortunately the builder was not posted on youtube but Great build.

The New Old School

This is the one of the most creative bike builds I've seen in a while.
Builder : Chicara Nagata

My Son : True Michael Triggs

I think being a Father is one of the best experiences in my life.

Watching my son grow each day, learn new things and understanding the concept of understanding is amazing.

If you are a parent, Love Your Kids.

It's the fuckin Best.

Raging

I went to this photographers event the other night in Los Angeles. It was pretty cool their were people dressed up in wild outfits and about a hundred photographers. This event made me realize how much I need to start practicing taking pictures again.

Here are a few of my snaps.

I'll definitely be ready for the next one.

Washington is probably one of the nicest places I've been in America so far. The only thing missing on this trip was my motorcycle.

I think the way the houses off the side of the ocean. The forest, the bridges, the cafe shops, the food, the air, the people, the Seahawks. This place is a definite place to travel to in America.

Here are a few snaps, but they do not show how it felt only how it looks from my perspective.

I'm back

I read this the other day and it made me get back on the computer and start blogging again. I think I kinda missed blogging. This is a great little booster.
